Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of GolfDx. By using the service you agree to them. GolfDx is operated by a sole trader based in Melbourne, Australia. If you have questions, email hello@golfdx.app.
1. What GolfDx is
GolfDx is a diagnostic tool. It analyses your answers to a structured assessment and produces a report identifying where you are likely losing shots, along with a suggested practice plan.
2. No guarantee of results
We do not promise that using GolfDx will lower your scores, improve your handicap, or produce any particular outcome. Golf improvement depends on many factors outside our control, including your practice, physical ability, coaching, and time. Any projections or estimates shown in your report are illustrative, not promises.
3. Accounts and access codes
GolfDx does not require you to create an account. Your assessment is stored in your own browser. If you subscribe, we issue you an access code so you can unlock the full report on other devices.
Your access code is personal to you. Please do not share it. We may deactivate codes that are being shared or misused.
4. Subscriptions and payment
- The initial assessment and free report are provided at no charge.
- The full diagnosis is available by subscription: US$9.99 per month or US$99.99 per year.
- All prices are in US dollars. Your bank may apply a currency conversion or foreign transaction fee, which is beyond our control.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Applicable taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period, except under the guarantee below or where required by law. You keep access for the period you have already paid for.

6. Our 14-day guarantee
This guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any equivalent consumer protection law that applies to you.
7. Your responsibilities
- Answer the assessment honestly — the diagnosis is only as good as the information you give it.
- Do not attempt to circumvent payment, share access codes, or interfere with the service.
- Do not copy, resell, or redistribute GolfDx content.
8. Physical activity and injury
GolfDx suggests practice drills. Golf is physical activity and carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for exercising within your own physical limits, and for seeking medical advice if you are unsure whether an activity is safe for you. We are not responsible for injury arising from drills or practice you choose to undertake.
9. Availability
We aim to keep GolfDx available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, or due to failures of providers we depend on. Links to third-party demonstration videos may break if those videos are removed by their owners.
10. Your data
Your assessment answers and report are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. If you clear your browser data, they are gone and we cannot restore them. Please see our Privacy Policy for detail.
11. Intellectual property
GolfDx, its name, its assessment, its scoring method, its reports and its drill content remain our property. You are given a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own golf. You may not reproduce or resell them.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law: our liability to you for any claim arising from GolfDx is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim; and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
13. Changes
We may change these terms or our pricing. Material changes will be posted here, and where they affect an existing subscription we will give you reasonable notice. Continuing to use GolfDx after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction.
